Frequently Asked Questions

What does my insurance cover?
Once we get your insurance information, we will contact your insurance provider and go over all of your benefits in detail.
How much is an eye exam?

Pricing for eye exams:
New Patient: $109
Established Patient: $87
Contact Lens Fitting: $66

Why does a contact lens exam cost more?
Contact lenses are medical devices. Since they rest directly on the eye, not only is the prescription important, but how they fit on the eye. If contact lenses do not fit properly, it will not only effect vision, but comfort as well.
Do I have to have my eyes dilated?
Dilation is necessary to better view the back of the eye (retina). This is necessary for certain medical conditions like diabetes or with certain symptoms like flashes or floaters in the eye.
